Overview
Ginink ("we", "our", or "us") is a proprietary writing application developed by farhaankhan. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you use Ginink or visit this website.
Your writing data
Ginink is local-first. Your manuscripts, outlines, version history, and project files are stored primarily on your device. If you enable Google Drive sync, your data is stored in your own Google Drive account under your control. We do not access, sell, or share your writing content.
Account information
If you create an account, we collect basic account information such as your email address and display name to provide authentication, team features, and notifications. Account data is processed through our authentication provider (Supabase).
Analytics and crash reports
You may optionally enable anonymous crash logs and feature usage telemetry in the app settings. This data is used solely to improve Ginink and does not include your writing content.
Alpha access requests
If you submit your email on this website to request alpha access, we will use it only to send you access details and occasional Ginink updates. You can request removal at any time by contacting farhumaid@gmail.com.
Third-party services
Ginink integrates with Google Drive for optional cloud sync and uses Supabase for authentication. Your use of these services is also governed by their respective privacy policies.
